Kemba vs. Kyrie
Friday night’s Eastern Conference game between Charlotte and Cleveland will pit point guards Kemba Walker of the Bobcats against the Cavaliers’ Kyrie Irving.
Irving, the No.1 pick from the 2011 NBA draft, and Walker, the No. 9 pick, have emerged as the two most productive players from that draft, as well as the leading scorer on their respective teams.
While Irving is considered a top-tier point guard in the NBA at just 20, Walker has been the Bobcats’ most consistent player this season. A look at their statistics shows an increase in production by both players as Walker has moved to full-time starter and Irving has dealt with injuries.
