Your Friday morning traffic report

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a pedestrian sustained non- life-threatening injuries after they were hit by a bus early Friday in uptown.

The wreck was reported around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Ninth and Tryon streets.

The collision was one of six wrecks with possible injuries that police were responding to early Friday. In another case, a vehicle flipped in the 3800 block of East Independence Boulevard near Pierson Drive. The wreck had temporarily closed two lanes of Independence headed away from uptown.

Meanwhile, congestion is still being reported on the inner loop of Interstate 485 in southern Mecklenburg after an accident near Rea Road. An alert from the N.C. Department of Transportation said it expected some traffic slowdowns until about 9:52 a.m.
