Rowan man sought after break-ins

Rowan deputies are searching for a 36-year-old man accused in multiple break-ins and larcenies last month.

Authorities have issued arrest warrants for Cullen Junior Wilbanks and said they recovered several stolen items from his home.

The crimes occurred in December and involved the theft of an air-conditioning unit from S & S Graham’s Archery and break-ins at several store buildings for Grove Supply company, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office. The business and storage units are located on North Main Street near China Grove.

Deputies said Wilbanks used a white Ford F150 to commit the crimes, and deputies recovered some of the stolen items after executing a search warrant at his home.

Wilbanks is wanted on charges of larceny and breaking and entering. He had not yet been apprehended early Friday, according to the website of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
