Realty agency’s FUNDay benefits public education

Allen Tate Realtors have raised $1.25 million for public education through their annual FUNDay fundraisers over the past 15 years. Since 1999, agents have paid to participate in FUNDay activities like tennis, tailgate competitions, cake walks and silent auctions, among others.

For the past two years, Allen Tate has held two regional fundraisers that nearly 400 agents have participated in to raise more than $80,000. All proceeds benefit public education in Allen Tate communities.

In a statement, Allen Tate President and Chief Operating Officer Pat Riley said schools are integral to a community’s quality of life. “For 15 years, our realtors have come together in the spirit of giving back to protect and preserve public education, so every child has an opportunity to be prepared and learn, and every teacher has the skills and equipment they need to help those children succeed.”
