2 armed men invade Charlotte home

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for two armed men who broke into a home in northwest Charlotte, stole unknown items and left. The men were armed with guns when around 9 p.m. Saturday they forced their way into a residence at 3117 Fairbrook Drive near Beatties Ford Road.

The homeowner was there at the time of the home invasion but no one was hurt, police said.
