Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection with four robberies since Thanksgiving weekend -- three at convenience stores, and the other at a McDonald’s.

Most of the robberies happened in the Wendover Road-Randolph Road area of southeast Charlotte.

In each case, police say, the suspect demanded money from clerks while armed with a handgun. The suspect is described as a white male, between 5 feet 4 and 5 feet 11, with a thin build (120 to 180 pounds). The man has blond hair, police say. His age is somewhere between 28 and 50, and police say he might be driving a black four-door Lincoln Town Car.

The robberies were at 1035 North Wendover Road; 9726 Monroe Road; 101 West Woodlawn Road; and 4474 Randolph Road.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers, 704-334-1600.
