She found a painting copying Van Gogh's self-portrait at a thrift store in Fort Lauderdale, put a frame on it and attached a bandage to his ear. It sits next to dolls she made from photos of herself and her husband, Larry Ische. She got photos of both of them when they were five years old, had the images transferred to clothe material.
