Gastonia police are trying to track down a woman suspected of stealing about 18 bottles of perfume from a local store two months ago.
A crime report on the incident doesnt list the type of perfume taken, but police said Friday that the bottles were worth an estimated $2,000.
The theft occurred Nov. 16 at the ULTA Beauty Store in the 400 block of Cox Road in Gastonia. Police said a woman put the bottles of perfume in a bag and then left the store without paying for the merchandise.
On Friday, police released three surveillance photos of the suspect, who is described as a black female with long black hair, and who was wearing pink sunglasses, a leopard print scarf, pink pants, black boots and a black jacket.
