Ever feel like you're in a tug of war contest and you're the rope?
This week has been a contest between student teaching, Jason, and wedding plans. I guess I'm having a difficult time finding that perfect balance in my life. I have got to find it soon or I'm going to freak out!
On Saturday, my 7 bridesmaids and I went out to get their bridesmaids dresses which was beyond fun. While most of the girls know each other (4 of them live with me), my childhood buddy and high school friend were thrown into the mix. I was nervous how everyone would get along but it ended up working out better than I could have imagined. I was so excited to see everyone again and it was nice to catch up. I had chosen two similar but different dresses for them to try on and by total coincidence, 3 chose one dress and the other 4 chose the other dress. Are we just the cutest?!
On Monday, I began student teaching.
Most. Fun. EVER.
I am seriously going into the best profession out there.
I am having a blast working with the students and my teacher and it could not be any more awesome.
Just look at the note (above) I received on my first day back on Tuesday! After being completely nervous, scared, and overwhelmed on Tuesday, this is exactly what I needed to read.
The rest of this week, I've been struggling with balancing time with Jason, time with friends, and time devoted to the classroom. Jason and I haven't had more than 15 minutes together each day because it's been so chaotic. Today marks 4 months until our wedding day and by golly, we're going out! We're going to celebrate the 4 month mark, our 2 year anniversary of being together, and our 1 year engagement. Not to mention, my birthday is on the 23rd so feel free to bring me some chocolate birthday cake :)
January is by far my favorite month :)
Hopefully I'll be able to hone my juggling skills and find the much needed balance in my life!
