JAN. 21 National Parks
Free admission on MLK Day
Not all National Park Service properties charge admission, but those that do will waive it Jan. 21, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. Admission will not be charged that day at the Wright Brothers National Memorial, at Kitty Hawk (admission is ordinarily $4), and at Fort Moultrie, at Charleston (ordinarily $3). For a state-by-state list of parks participating in this and other free-entrance days: www.nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparksbystate.htm.
