Fort Mill home vandalized with eggs, toilet paper, shaving cream

By Jonathan McFadden

FORT MILL A Fort Mill man and woman awoke Wednesday to find that someone threw eggs on their house and car, tossed forks and toilet paper in the yard and sprayed shaving cream on the car and mailbox, deputies say.

Deputies were sent to the home around 3 p.m. and met with the man, 22, and the 19-year-old woman who said sometime in the night, someone vandalized their property, according to a York County Sheriff’s report. Both said they had no idea who would do this to them or why.

Around 2 a.m., the woman’s co-workers went to the house and “beat on the door,” the report states. The man said he got up and looked outside, but didn’t answer the door because he didn’t feel like getting out of bed.

The man said he’s had trouble in the past with some neighbors but doubts they would vandalize his home, the report states.
