ROCK HILL A toddler was found alone in a house owned by the Rock Hill Housing Authority that, according to police, was being prepared for pest control treatment on Monday.

An employee with the Housing Authority went to inspect the Gordon Court home, off Willowbrook Avenue, at about 8:50 a.m. and prepare it for pest control treatment, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

While inspecting the house, the employee found a sleeping 2- or 3-year-old boy alone in the home, the report states. As he waited for the police to arrive, the employee said, a 25-year-old woman, who is leasing the property, arrived and said her father should have been with the child.

No arrests were made but police are still investigating.
