ROCK HILL Two Rock Hill teenagers stayed a night in jail after police say they tried to steal condoms, cold medicine and deodorant from Walmart on Tuesday.

Cameron Ray Poling and Brent Sullivan, both 17, were released from jail Wednesday morning on $2,130 bonds after they were charged with shoplifting, Rock Hill Police documents show.

The loss prevention officer for the Walmart on Old York Road detained Poling and Sullivan after watching them grab several items from the shelves, including condoms, various types of cold medicine and deodorant, a Rock Hill Police report states. Sullivan and Poling were arrested and taken to jail.

The total value of the items stolen and then recovered was $68, police say.
