A Denver man is in jail for allegedly distributing pornographic pictures of children online.
Edward Arthur Peck, 47, was arrested Tuesday night after Lincoln County Sheriff’s officers and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation searched his home at 1753 North Highway 16 and seized his computers, police said.
Peck was charged two felony counts of second degree sexual exploit of a minor and distributing material.
He was in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $200,000 secured bond and had a first appearance Wednesday in Lincoln County District Court.
