If the National Enquirer and its sources are to be believed, Tiger Woods got down on his knee and proposed to Elin Nordegren, his ex-wife, the mother of his two children, over the Christmas holidays. Even allegedly offered a ring to seal the deal.

And why would the ex-wife of a cheatin' man trust him again? The Enquirer reports that Elin demanded a $350 million anti-cheating clause - nearly half of Tiger's reported worth.

We assume that means that's what she'd get paid if he ever gets caught again bedding a porn star or stripper.

"Tiger didn't even balk at the demand. Even though his accountants think he's crazy, he's ready to sign the pre-nup and set a wedding date," a "source" tells the Enquirer. "The guy has never recovered from being dumped by Elin. He's dated lots of models and bimbos, but none of them were more than a one-night stand."

The hardest part of this report to swallow? That Elin is CONSIDERING Tiger's proposal and that the two are getting close again. Like, really close.

"Tiger stopped by Elin's rental house one afternoon when their kids were out with a nanny and they had sex for the first time since the split," a source reportedly told the Enquirer.

Elin herself was a nanny to Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik's kids when she met Tiger in 2001. They got married in 2004 and divorced after that weird incident around Thanksgiving in 2009 when she found out he'd been cheating with many women and then he crashed his car into a tree outside their house and then it got reported that Elin had attacked him and then Tiger tearfully confessed his sins to the world at a press conference at PGA headquarters after allegedly going through sex addiction therapy.

The two haven't lived together since 2010.

Something to remember: The Enquirer broke the original story that Tiger had cheated on his wife. So might there be truth here?
