Couch-to-5K: The Cornelius PARC Department will host this six-week class 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday nights from Jan. 28 to March 11 at Bailey Middle School Track, 11900 Bailey Road. Designed for beginner runners, the program puts participants through a running workout that progresses towards being able to run a 5K and teaches proper warm-up techniques and stretches for quicker workout recovery. $40 for residents, $48 for nonresidents.
