Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery last month in northwest Charlotte.
Police said the robbery occurred around 3:49 a.m. Dec. 23 at the 7-Eleven in the 2900 block of Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road. It was not immediately known what, if anything, the suspect took. But authorities said the suspect was last seen fleeing towards Northwoods Forest Drive on Mt. Holly-Huntersville Road in an older model, teal, 4-door Honda Accord.
Police released four photos of the suspect and vehicle on Friday. The suspect is described as a white male, 5foot-10 and about 150 lbs. with a mustache and possibly brown hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie, red polo shirt over a grey t-shirt, dark blue jeans and red and white sneakers, police said.
