Here’s how the following will observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday:

Federal offices: Closed.

N.C., S.C. state offices: Closed.

Charlotte city offices: Closed.

Mecklenburg County offices: Closed.

Mecklenburg County Courthouse: Closed.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools: Closed.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg libraries: Closed.

Banks: Closed.

Buses, light rail: Open, operating on Saturday schedule.

Compost Central: Open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Garbage pickup: Closed. Collection will operate on a one-day delay, with Friday collection services happening on Saturday.

Mecklenburg ABC stores: Closed.

S.C. ABC stores: Open.

FedEx: Open.

UPS: Open.

U.S. Postal Service: Closed.
