Charlotte residents are reminded that trash collection will be on a one-day delayed basis this week, due to today’s observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.
The city’s Solid Waste Services crews will pick up trash, yard wastes and recyclables one day later than usual, including residents with Friday pickup being served this week on Saturday.
Trash collection schedules in the smaller towns near Charlotte vary, but in most area municipalities, crews will work on a normal schedule this week.
