The college students started their service project around 11 a.m. on Monday, the official federal and a state holiday honoring King.
At the Boys and Girls Clubs in Rock Hill and Fort Mill, the volunteers helped children make handprints that said I am different because.... The college students then discussed what makes everyone special and different but equal.
With seniors, the students completed Living History books with people living at the Green Street apartments, Agape Senior and the Adult Enrichment Center. Seniors shared their stories about what life was like when they were in their 20s.
