Mayfield to host District 3 town hall meeting

Charlotte City Councilwoman LaWana Mayfield will discuss city street projects, neighborhood grants and other issues at a district meeting this weekend.

Mayfield is hosting a town hall meeting from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday in the community room at Carolinas Medical Center-Steele Creek, 13640 Steelecroft Pkwy. The meeting is open to the public.

According to the city, the meeting will focus on multiple topics, including street projects, planning and economic initiatives and a small business update from the county.

Mayfield represents District 3 on the city council, which runs from Tuckaseegee Road to Steele Creek and the South Carolina line
