The winner: In the morning I empty the ice maker into that day’s Observer bag and put in the freezer. It’s a great size for emptying into an ice bucket or filling a small cooler.

Make shopping list on store circular
For my weekly grocery shopping list, I write the items I need at the top of the store circulars that come in the Wednesday paper. That way I never lose my lists and if there is an item that is out of stock, I can show it to the clerk so they can see what I am looking for.

Use tape for heavy-duty dusting
I was moving my bed around and the baseboards were extremely dusty. I took a piece of packing tape (or masking tape) and went around the baseboard. Then dusted with a feather duster and it looked very clean and was easy to do.
