As we head down the final stretch of the high school basketball regular season, unbeaten Olympic and unbeaten Myers Park girls still sit atop the Observer’s Sweet 16 poll.

There was a little movement beneath them in both polls.

On the boys side, Hough is to a school-best No. 2 as West Charlotte dropped one spot after losing in a Washington, D.C.-area tournament last week.

Shelby also fell three spots to No. 9 after losing 68-59 to Freedom. Freedom jumped one spot to No. 7

In the girls poll, North Meck is up to No. 4, and there could be more change next week, as No. 1 Myers Park visits No. 2 Ardrey Kell on Friday.
