The heaviest part of the morning commute is over, but the traffic troubles continue this Tuesday morning in the Charlotte region.
An earlier wreck that clogged inbound East Independence Boulevard is cleared, but crews are still working to clear the wreck on northbound Interstate 85 near Graham Street.
And congestion remains a problem in several areas -- well after congestion usually dissipates.

-- I-85 northbound, north Charlotte ... Multi-vehicle collision reported about 7:55 a.m.; heavy delays; traffic moving 10-20 mph from I-77 to the wreck scene.
-- I-485 inner loop, south Mecklenburg ... Congestion; traffic moving 15-30 mph from Providence Road to South Boulevard.
-- I-77 southbound, Lake Norman area ... Congestion; traffic moving 20-30 mph from Davidson down to I-485.
-- I-77 northbound, south Charlotte ... Congestion; traffic moving 20-30 mph from Carowinds Boulevard to Woodlawn Road.
-- I-85 southbound, Cabarrus County ... Congestion; traffic moving 20-25 mph from N.C. 73 down to I-485.
-- Providence Road inbound ... Congestion; traffic moving 15-25 mph from the Arboretum to Wendover Road.
-- Independence Boulevard at I-485, Matthews-Stallings area ... Collision, with moderate delays on both sides.
-- East 7th at Ranier Drive ... Collision near Pecan, on 7th Street; minor to moderate delays.
-- Monroe Road at Woodberry Drive ... Collision, near Idlewild Road; minor delays.
