U.S. tornadoes, 2010-11

Some 3,000 tornadoes spun across the U.S. in 2010 and 2011. They killed hundreds and injured thousands, with the deadliest striking Joplin, MO in May 2011. That tornado, an EF 5, killed 158, data show. Click on a tornado for more information.
