A tractor-trailer carrying chickens overturned in Cleveland County on Thursday morning.
The incident happened along Highway 10 near Bridge Point Road in Cleveland County around 10 a.m., according to the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
The tractor-trailer overturned into a front yard, dumping several cages filled with chickens along the road. Emergency crews are on the scene and have begun the clean up process.
Part of Highway 10 is blocked while crews work to clear the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was injured, but authorities have not released the extent of his injuries.
