Traffic is moving slow on the outer loop of Interstate 485 after a vehicle caught fire near South Boulevard earlier this afternoon.
Emergency crews have moved the vehicle from the roadway but the North Carolina Department of Transportation said traffic was still congested at 6 p.m.
Medic was not called to the scene and no injuries had been reported.
