Deputies: High-schooler brought loaded gun, drugs on campus

An 18-year-old student at a Marshville high school was arrested Monday for allegedly bringing a loaded gun and marijuana onto the Forest Hills High campus.

Stephon Clyburn, a senior at Forest Hills, was charged with three felonies and two misdemeanors, including possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, possession of a firearm on a school campus, carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Clyburn’s court date is set for March 5 and his bond is set at $2,500.
