3 arrested in Indian Trail home invasion

Union County deputies have arrested three men in connection with an Indian Trail home invasion. Deputies were called to a home at 1138 Briarmore Drive in the Brandon Oaks Subdivision at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday to investigate the home invasion and armed robbery call.

A deputy sheriff located and detained one of the suspects minutes after arriving on scene. Deputies then established a perimeter and used canines to search the area. Eventually, authorities found an abandoned vehicle nearby, where they discovered the stolen property and the .22 caliber revolver used in the robbery.

Indian Trail residents Keith Spencer Gaines, 19, Kyle Michael Holt, 18, and Jadarrius Duntavias Williams, 20, were all arrested without incident and charged with armed robbery and second degree kidnapping.

Deputies also tied Gaines to two separate robbery cases that happened in Indian Trail in 2011 --- when he alleged robbed a Dominos Pizza delivery driver and the driver of a New York Pizza and Pasta delivery truck.

Gaines was in the Union County Jail on $60,000 bond, while Holt and Williams’ bonds were both set at $20,000.
