Congestion is the big problem for Charlotte-area motorists at 8:10 a.m. Friday.
Heavy traffic has slowed the morning commute on Interstates 485 and 77 in the southern part of the county.
A collision was reported recently on Old Charlotte Highway near Sun Valley High School in Union County.
One word of caution -- it’s windy this morning. If you’re on the interstate highways or driving on rural roads, be prepared to deal with wind gusts.
