Police looking for suspect in Bojangles robbery

Cornelius police Friday were searching for a man who robbed the Bojangles at 20214 West Catawba Ave.

Around 8 p.m. Thursday, a man walked into the story with a black, semi-automatic pistol. Witnesses said the man was between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-3-inches tall, had a thin build, wore black clothing and a black mask.

He left the building through the back door and fled on foot, police said.

Anyone with information should call (704) 892-7773 or the North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers hotline at (704) 896-7467. A reward of up to $1,000 is available for anyone with information leading to an arrest in the case.
