In a story on Friday’s front page about Gov. Pat McCrory’s comments about money for Charlotte’s streetcar, the Observer understated the amount of money the N.C. Department of Transportation has pledged to pay for construction of the Lynx Blue Line Extension. The DOT has pledged to pay for $299 million.
