‘True Story of Three Pigs’ on stage Feb. 7 in Clover

Staff reports

CLOVER The Tarradiddle Players present “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Clover School District Auditorium, 1625 S.C. 55 E.

“The True Story of the Three Little Pigs” begins where the book leaves off, with the trial of a much-maligned citizen of the piggy public. Alexander T. Wolf is on trial for his deeds.

Three pigs build houses; the one who builds his house out of brick doesn’t get eaten by the Big Bad Wolf and lives to tell the tale.

But is it the whole truth or porcine propaganda? That’s the question raised in this parody of “The Three Little Pigs.”

After Al defends himself with his own version, and all the witness statements are in, the audience becomes the jury and decides his fate – guilty or not guilty.

Cast members include Leslie Ann Giles, Scott A. Miller, Darlene Parker and Stephen Seay.

Admission costs $5, and children age 12 and younger are admitted free. Call 803-222-8018.
