There are few problems for motorists in the Charlotte area this morning at 7:15 a.m.
Police are working to clear a wreck on Weddington Road south of Matthews and have closed a portion of West Boulevard because of a fire. There’s also a blockage on Albemarle Road.

-- I-485 inner loop, south Mecklenburg ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from Providence Road to South Boulevard.
-- I-77 northbound, south Charlotte ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from Carowinds Boulevard to Woodlawn Road.
-- I-77 southbound, Lake Norman area ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from Mooresville down to I-485.
-- Weddington Road at Plantation Drive (near I-485) ... Collision reported about 6:40 a.m. (near the Siskey YMCA); minor delays.
-- West Boulevard near Remount Road ... An apartment fire was reported about 7:10 a.m. on Watson Drive. West Boulevard is closed in the area (near Remount Road).
-- Albemarle Road at I-485 ... Some type of blockage in the road; minor delays.
