Man shot at Lancaster Co. night club

LANCASTER Lancaster deputies are investigating a shooting this weekend at a night club.

Around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies were dispatched to Grown Folks Night Club at 1418 Kershaw Camden Hwy., where they found a 23-year-old man had been shot, according to a news release from the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office.

The victim said he was in the parking lot when he heard gunshots and realized he had been shot. The victim said he didn't see anyone and did not know who shot him. No one else in the crowd was able to provide any additional information, the release states.

The victim was taken to the hospital with what appears to be non life-threatening injuries.

Criminal Investigators and Crime Scene Investigators arrived on scene and began an investigation.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the shooting to call the Sheriff’s Office at 283-4136 or contact Crimestopper’s at 1-888-Crime SC (1-888-274-6372).
