Collisions have caused major problems Tuesday morning on the Billy Graham Parkway and northbound Interstate 77 in south Charlotte.
Congestion is building in other locations, too.

I-485 inner loop, south Mecklenburg ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph between Providence Road and South Boulevard.
I-77 northbound, south Charlotte ... Wreck reported between Westinghouse Boulevard and Tyvola Road; also heavy congestion; traffic moving 5-15 mph between Carowinds Boulevard and Woodlawn Road.
I-77 southbound, Lake Norman area ... Congestion; traffic moving 25-35 mph from N.C. 73 down to Exit 23 in Huntersville.
I-85 southbound, Cabarrus County ... Congestion; traffic moving 20-30 mph from N.C. 73 down to I-485.
Independence Boulevard inbound ... Congestion; traffic moving 15-25 mph from Harris Boulevard to Sharon Amity Road.
Billy Graham Parkway at West Boulevard ... Multi-vehicle collision (three vehicles); heavy congestion; traffic moving 5-10 mph on outer loop, from I-85 to wreck scene; traffic also slow on inner loop and on outbound West Boulevard.
Shamrock Drive at Sharon Amity Road ... Collision reported at 7:35 a.m.; moderate delays.
South Boulevard at I-485 ... Disabled vehicle; minor delays.
East Woodlawn Road at Selwyn Road ... Collision reported at 7:25 a.m.; moderate delays.
