Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say the man they questioned last week outside a southwest Charlotte business has now been charged with trying to burglarize that company.

Police say they have charged Bradley James Lonneville, 20, with felony breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny, and with possession of burglary tools.

Investigators say an alarm sounded shortly after 11 p.m. Jan. 28 at East Coast Weapons, in the 400 block of Westinghouse Boulevard. When officers arrived, they found a man behind the business. That man, now identified as Lonneville, was questioned at the time.

Police say they subsequently determined that someone had pried open the rear door to the business.
