A 20-year-old woman is dead after a three-car wreck on Ardrey Kell Road in South Charlotte Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
Brittany Osorio died at Carolinas Medical Center in Dilworth after being flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said Osorio was driving a 2002 Mercedes ML320 west on Ardrey Kell Road at 4:13 p.m. when she crossed the double yellow line and sideswiped a 2002 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven by Leopoldo Camacho, 40.
Osorio’s Mercedes then struck a 2012 Sequoia, driven by Robert Matuszak, 63, head on, according to police.
Camacho and Matuszak were taken by ambulance to Carolinas Medical Center in Pineville for treatment for minor injuries.
