Pancakes for a Purpose Fight Pancreatic cancer: For the third year in a row, Tammi Brady of south Charlotte will hold an Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraiser 7:30-10 a.m. Feb. 23 at Applebee’s near Stonecrest, 5110 Piper Station Drive. The event raises money for Pancreatic Cancer research with all proceeds donated to The Lustgarten Foundation. Brady’s late husband, David Anstadt, died of pancreatic cancer at age 43. Easter Seals UCP Banana pudding sales: On Feb. 15 and 22, Lola’s Restaurant at 300 S. Brevard St., will give proceeds from their banana pudding sales to benefit Easter Seals UCP – a nonprofit that provides lifelong programs and services to children and adults with disabilities in the Charlotte area.
