Charlotte Humane Society launches young professionals group

The Humane Society of Charlotte will host its first Young Affiliated Professionals (YAP) event and membership drive 5:30-7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Blackfinn at the EpiCentre, 210 E. Trade St. The newly-formed group is for donors ages 25 to 45 who care about animal welfare and want to promote and support the local Humane Society.

The event will offer a chance to network with other like-minded professionals and learn about volunteer and fundraising opportunities, social events and educational functions. Reservations are requested: yap@humanesocietyofcharlotte.org. Details and questions: jpeele@humanesocietyofcharlotte.org.
