Union County commissioners this week unanimously approved extending County Manager Cindy Coto’s contract to Dec. 31, 2015.
Her original contract ran from Nov. 15, 2010 to July 15 of this year. The contract will automatically renew for a two-year term unless the commissioners give notice of non-renewal on or before Nov. 15, 2015.
All other details of her contract remain the same, including Coto’s salary, which stands at $159,395 a year.
Coto expressed her appreciation for the board’s confidence in her, and board members praised her work over the past few years.
