One person was in the hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday afternoon following a multi-car wreck in the 8800 block of Mallard Creek Road in the University City area of Charlotte.
Emergency crews responded to the wreck around 2:50 p.m., where a person was pinned in one of the vehicles, according to Medic.
The crash victim with life-threatening injuries was transported to Carolinas Medical Center in Dilworth for treatment.
