This whole growing up thing is happening.

I have just celebrated my 22nd birthday, applied for my first job, and Jason and I are looking for a home!! With so many changes and huge milestones, I hardly have time to catch my breath!

Not to mention, I'm getting married in 92 days- EEK!

It's hard not to stress out or internally panic inside but what I've come to realize is that you have to:

• take it one step at a time- worrying about everything at one time won't help anyone, especially you.

• breathe.

• make a to-do list that spans over an amount of time; don't try to do everything in one day...you'll spread yourself thin and end up discouraged that you didn't get everything accomplished.

• eat chocolate. You can never go wrong with chocolate :)

This weekend, Jason and I will be looking at houses near the school district I applied to. You have no idea how excited I am! We have looked at millions of homes online, fallen in love, and then when we do a drive-by to check out the neighborhood, we quickly realize why it was such a steal of a deal. There have been houses that Jason slams on the gas to leave! Jason has gotten so discouraged and frustrated because no house was meeting our standards.

But then we found not one but two exceptions. One looks like it's in great condition while the other is a fixer upper2. I guess we'll just have to see!

I'll tell you how it goes this weekend but keep your fingers crossed that at least one of these houses can be called home for the Perrys.
