ROCK HILL More than $42,000 in motors and copper were stolen this week from a Rock Hill business, police say.

The owner of Busby Electric Motor Service arrived for work Thursday morning to find several items missing from a storage area outside the shop on Camden Avenue. The items were "outside the shop and unsecured," according to a Rock Hill police report.

About 1,000 pounds of copper valued at $2,500 were missing, as well as 200 motors valued at $40,000.

The owner told police the motors are so heavy it would take many people or a life to move them.
