27 CFD firefighters knock down apartment blaze

CHARLOTTE The Charlotte Fire Department worked to control a blaze at an apartment complex in the Belmont neighborhood, just blocks away from Uptown.

Heavy smoke billowed from the apartment building, official say, in the 800 block of Seigle Avenue on Sunday afternoon.

Twenty-seven fireman knocked-down the fire and had it under control in just 11 minutes.

No injuries have been reported.
