A “fully loaded” school bus was involved in a wreck in south Charlotte Monday afternoon, according to a police spokesman.

The wreck happened just after 3 p.m., according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Spokesman Office Keith Trietley.

Trietley said it was unclear how many people were injured in the wreck, or the extent of their injuries. It was unclear what school the children were coming from, but he said the bus was.
