Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have charged a man with aggressive driving and eluding police after he led them on a high-speed chase with a child in his car.

Police originally pulled over Antreze Lamar Praylor, 25, during a routine traffic stop in the 5700 block of East Independence Boulevard in Charlotte.

But after an altercation with the police officer, Praylor sped off. He was driving in excess of 90 mph with a child in the car, a police report shows.

Officers later found Praylor and booked him into the Mecklenburg County jail on $3,000 secured bond.
