Wreck closes lane, slows traffic on I-277

A wreck on Interstate 277's inner loop in Charlotte had a lane closed down and traffic moving slowly at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The accident happened around 6:30 p.m. near mile marker one. Road crews were working to clear the wreckage from the roadway, a portion of which was expected to be shut down until just before 8 p.m.

Few other details were immediately available.
