We had our final weigh in and I am proud to say I lost a good amount of weight over the duration of the Get Fit Challenge. But now that all is said and done, and with my wedding still 8 months away now what?
Ive started to slack.
The day after the final weigh in, I promised myself I would be able to eat two things: Chik-fil-a fries and Reeses Pieces cookies. After indulging, I wanted to throw my guts up. The fries didnt even taste that good! I had opened up Pandoras box at that moment though and shes an evil, evil woman.
Ive noticed that slowly over the past two weeks, Ive been getting to the gym less and snacking more. Ive begun to drink diet coke again and even found myself drinking little to no water. My energy level has declined and Ive felt sluggish and just kind of gross overall.
What has happened to me?!
It is SO easy to regress after making progress. You begin to get comfortable again in the habits that you used to have. I refuse to put ANY of that weight back on. Im not going to take all of that hard work and through it out the window.
This week is going to be a wake up call. Im not going to let it happen ladies! And I hope the same for you!
