A Rock Hill woman told police that a hooded man held a gun to her head and demanded money as she got out of her car early Monday.

Around 6 a.m., police were called to a Clarinda Street home, where they met with the 56-year-old woman. She said as she was exiting her car, a man she possibly knew put a gun to her head, ordering her not to look at him, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

He told her to give him all her money before he hit her on the left side of her face, leaving her with a cut, the report states. The woman said she gave her assailant $20. He then took off.

She said she drove her car and followed him for a few minutes until she lost sight of him, the report states. She said he wore a black hoodie with a gold design on the front and held a black pistol. She said she might know the man, but wasn’t able to get a good look at him.

EMS arrived on scene and treated her injuries.
